It's not even a coupé, it's a shooting-brake. Curse you Volkswagen!

It may as well be the new Golf to be honest. I'm just really disappointed with it; it seems VW have missed an opportunity to make something decent with the name; this production model looks like a Volvo C30 or a squashed Grande Punto.

The concept was much, much prettier.

i can see where Ollie is coming from, they had the chance to make this a very cool coupe in the traditions of the scirocco and the corrado.

i like it as a car though, very much!

i do like that! but agree it doesn't seem like much of a coupe and doesn't quite follow the lines of the original rocco! maybe they should have called it something else! :P

The 2.0 TFSI from the Golf GTI, later on the new 1.4 TSI and probably a 2.0 TDI.

It looks a tiny bit better in Red:

It still looks quite lardy though. And it's a shame they had to use the interior from the Eos. Whatever happened to farvegnugen, VW?

Another note; have a look at the back of a 90's-era Mitsubishi Colt. Notice the resemblance to the new IROC?

If only they were doing a 3.2 V6 version then I might have considered one of those 8)
