Pop Out Rear Windows

Does anyone have these on their polo?
I was just wondering if it was standard on any spec or if it was even optional. I've never seen any in the UK! Perhaps it was only available in germany or SA?
Any info would be great.

never seen it, or modified into a polo!!

so getting them over here is slim to none, shipping from SA is rediculously expensive

I was thinking, throw rocks thru my back windows, buy the pop out bits from VW then use your glass insurance, lmao.

a blue polo at work has pop out rear windows!!

i was just walking past it and spotted it and stopped and checked it out, my mate thought i was a right weirdo!! haha

but they do do em, i went down to vw to ask about it...

... and they said yep they did it, but stopped due to costs....

this is due to the fact that :

a - rear windows were different
b - rear seals were different
c - rear door cards were differnt!

parts alone were about 500 quid, which i said was b*******s... but i was too scared to ask! haaha

ill try get a pic of it tomorrow!
