I'm afraid I agree with Tom, it's bloody disgusting I know but there's nothing we can do about it.

I put £50 in mine the other day!

I'd never comprise my nice car for a cost efficient one, although the prices are awful! It does suck.

I haven't driven in a month, whats the price currently sitting at?

106/7.9p in my area. I've seen 108.9 in Central London today. I try to not get too bugged by petrol prices, it happens and we can't do much about it. The price for a barrel of oil hit an all-time high last week. We have to realise that we're slowly diminishing our planet's resources, and we need to find a viable alternative.

Try driving a Micra for cheap motoring. It does the daily drive and lasts all month with a tank of unleaded. It gets you from A to B fairly comfortably. Bloody reliable, too!

absolute joke, theres enough oil left to last at least a hundred years based on current reserves and maximum usage, theyll find more reserves. Its easy to say "pay it or dont drive" i try to use my bike wherever possible and not use my car, but theres certain times when u have to drive, e.g when i come back form uni at easter i cnt really take my entire room contents on my handlebars.

that's a damn good reason to stop people using oil! 100 years is absolutely NOTHING compared to the size of the planet. we must have almost used it all up!

renewable energy is the way forward - ethanol/veggie oil and so on

I'v got a wee feeling you wouldnt be saying that if you were driving something like a VR which needs to use the likes of V-power! if prices continue the way they are, i'm not even going to bother keeping the VR

Get myself a mk4 diesel or something!

Its getting a complete and utter disgrace now considering what the likes of america are paying!!!
