280mm Brake Upgrade

I'm looking into carrying this out soon, so I know that to upgrade the GTi brakes, I need carriers and discs, and I will be able to use the standard gti calipers and pads.
What I would like to know is the VR6 Corrado 280mm setup different. I know that corrado vr6 are 5x100, whereas the G60s are 4x100.
If I get the VR6 carriers, would they still fit?

If they are the same size then they should fit. All you need is the discs, pads and G60 carriers. You have to use the standard Callipers as the G60 ones have a different connection for the brake hoses

I know that the VR6 brakes are 280mm as well, but I just want to know how they differ from the G60 brakes. In theory they should be the same, just want to know if there are any significant differences.
