brand new polo gti 5th gear

i have a genuine 5th gear for a polo gti and lupo gti gearbox code etg and ffw it is boxed never fitted cost at vw dealer Â£110 . im looking for Â£75 plus postage probably be Â£5. i bought it in error and cannot return as it was a special order item. i can give you the part number if required. this is a big saving if you are getting your gearbox reconditioned.

the part number for this is 085 311 158 p it also fits lupo gti 5 speed gearbox.

lupo gearbox is on 020 gearbox so completely different. Will however fit any polo petrol mk2-mk5 and probably give a better ratio for the less powerful models.

No he was right the first time polo and lupo gti 5 speed boxes are the same! Its just the later 6 speed lupo boxes that r completley different!

Lupo gti has hydraulic clutch, regardless as to whether its 5 or 6 speed. The mountings are completely different. Its a completely different gearbox, its based on a golf/corrado gearbox. Trust me, i've rebuilt enough of them.
