TT Competiton alloys

Post by chewy »

Just got my hands on a set of TT Competiton alloys but they are in a need of a refurb. Was wanting to know what I could do to them i.e mirror polish/dimond cut etc? Also what size rubber should I put on them, I am running 205/45/16 was thinking 205/40/17 will this keep the speedo right? cheers

Tyres are spot on mate. There will be a very slight stretch but this is what you want 8) diamond cut or mirror polish are generally the most popular options people go for when refurbing comps as both look the dogs. Members like david_burton and Tim_Gti have them on there 9n's - Im sure they wouldn't mind sharing some pics with you.

Yeah thinking about going for the diamond cut (They look the nuts on yours David), will I need spacers or will these just fit? Cheers

Not diamond cut, original Audi finish still on mine. IMO polished look the best but a bit of a mare to keep looking pristine! Not really sure on lowering amount as its on coilovers!

Went to pick my TT`s up today, just under a 250 mile round trip, when I got there the guy had sold them, was not to happy. So now looking for some ideas of what else looks the nuts on a 9N. Cheers
