What size if I choose 9*16 wheels.

Post by Emann »

Do you think there is room for 9*16 wheels back, and 7,5*16 up front.

If I go for the 9*16 in the back, what offset should I choose, or what fitts best. 15, 25, 30, 35 ??

at the back i am sure that et 15 sticks out alot.(20mm?)
I've been told that et 25 fits without having problems with the arches(i mean the bodywork), but to me they seem to stick out a bit so if you don't lower it 80mm's there will be no problem with them scraping the bodywork I guess. Beware of cops then.. (wheels may not stick out.. although it never seemed to bother me :P )
Et 30: they should fit, but I don't know if the inside of the wheel touches the suspension then.. Probably not..

On the site of steffan( german wheelmanufacturer) they say 9x16 et 25 fits in the front and the back. I myself have et 23 in font on a 8,5" wheel. I can tell you that I hav to place a spacer of 3mm, otherwise it would touch my front brakes.. so et 25 fits?? It will depend on the wheel I think.. can't really say..

Isn't it possible to go to your local tuning shop and try on a 9x16 at the back an maybe front? You can calculate the et then to see what fits without problems..

Thanks for your support on the bodykit..

But I can tell you that is fake. I made it in photoshop one day, cause I wanted to see how if would fitt a polo 9n. I think the result is pretty good.
