something different?

Post by Bepe »

well spent my evenin when i got home from work takin the front end apart to get to my headlights,

Image

got the headlights out to find that my HID kit from my old polo dont fit,

bugger, so i fitted my side lights which are the clear/blue tint ones anyway while the units were out, then i had an idea

I fitted them on my fogs, so iam now running 8k HID's on my fogs

Image

my mate got some better pics on his camera as i used my phone!

replies good or bad as i just didnt want me HID's sat in my garage collecting dust!

I don't think you'll have trouble from anyone saying that they didn't see you coming.

Fogs look ace. They look very bright in the pics. What bulbs did you use? Bloody pain having to take the bumper off just to get at the headlamps lol

The GTi bulbs are D2S bulbs.

 I meant D2S, H2S is Hydrogen Sulphide

Any from this page, http://www.hids4u.co.uk/store/home.php?cat=23

I went for 6000k. I personally don't like the look of 8000k, way too blue and looks a bit tacky in my personal opinion, too aftermarket looking.
