AOL. I use BT Voyager 105 with my home computer and I bought a BT Voyager 205 for a tenner off eBay for my PS3  'cause the 105 doesn't have a ethernet option on it.

get yourself a netgear router- they work perfect

i've had a ps3 for about 15months now, was one of the looneys who imported one months before they came out here!
i love it though, tiger woods is fantastic, along with f1 and im addicted to call of duty at the minute. completed it in a couple of days and been playing online trying to build that rank up for hours on end!!
bought a new hd tele in the sales as my 26 wasnt big enough- you have to be running it in HD to appreciate how good the system actually is!!
and i cant wait for gt5 and gta4- they'll be the games of the year!!

a tip aswell, if you open up a jap psn account you can download the gt5 prologue demo which is suzuka track with different cars

just google it and theres info on how to do it. its just knowing what boxes to tick and fill in as everything is in japanese. then you download the game demo and delete the jap user profile and the game appears on your normal user bit- and the game is in english ;)

Well, I have an update. It took me almost a month but I've managed to get it online

I bought a Netgear DG834GT router about a week ago, connected it to my PS3 and no luck. Tried connecting it to my PC and nothing, my PC didn't recognize it (I use an USB modem to get online). I rang AOL and they were useless.

Eventually after some investigating I realized while looking at the Device Manager on my PC that there was a yellow '?', so clicked on it and it said that my 'Ethernet Controller' was uninstalled. I searched on Google, downloaded and installed - then plugged in the Netgear router and bingo the router and PC were communicating.

So, I rang AOL again and for the first time ever I got someone who was very helpful and managed to get me online using my Netgear router and configure it to use with the PS3. I was still skeptical that it would work though, but it did :D

I can't seem to get COD4 online, but yet again I've only tried once. Who's got F1 on here? We should set up a game :)

COD4 is definitely the game I've had most value for money for ever. I'm online almost every day on it, so damn addictive

I haven't used my PS3 for a couple of weeks lately, other than playing Tiger Woods every now and then.

Can't wait for GT5:Prologue end of the week though, and GTA next month, providing its on schedule.

Ah I bought a 2nd hand 60gb PS3 over the weekend and love it!

I've got Fifa 08 and F1 .... F1 is amazing!

I had pro evo, because I've always favoured pro over fifa...but playing pro online for me was awful, it keept jumping around and having like 1 second freezes all the time! did my head in! So i bought fifa, and when I play that online it's really smooth. Plus most my mates have it so we just have an online sesh.

I'm struggling to get online with F1 but it's a fantastic game! So realistic!

What's peoples usernames online then? I'll get adding you if you have Fifa or anything!

Cheers, Chris

Check this thread out!

http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... hp?t=33565

Add your user name in there (or here if you like ), and I'll add you. Then I'll give you a game on Fifa if we are ever on at the same time - only just got back into Fifa since leaving it alone a couple of months ago, but just got me a HDTV, so have got back into it 8)

Btw, how do you play with your mates on it. I couldnt see a way to select someone from your friends list to play with them specifically. Or do you just go into a lobby or something :?

Yeah I'll add my name to that list no worries, and on here...it's "Henshaw87" :D

What I did to play online with mates, is to create a league and then let them join the league. Basically just a mini-league between a few of you! We could create a "uk-polos" league, even if it's just the 2 of us
