is this the one needed for the GTI?

Yes thats the one, best getting some exhaust wrap as well as the stainless is very thin so its a little rattly when cold.

That's alot cheaper than I thought. Does it cost much for Exhaust Wrap also?

The exhaust wrap can be bought from Proven Products
I used 25 metres with a 5mm overlap.
You could get away with less though.

25 Metres is £36, plus you'll need some stainless ties.
