I'd recommend getting a shed load of cleaning products and get her nicely prepped and restored! it'll be the most noticable mod you could do.
Got my car today!

for the plastic bits (and this does work as well as it says it does) you can get a can of stuff called 'back to black'. i have no idea what it does to the black plastic, but spray it on, follow the instructions and all the plastic, and ur wipers n everything, comes up good as new. nice little mod, ive done it and you can see the difference in real life, if not in the photos.
Great, I'll try that out.
Got a couple of questions, firstly my reverse light and rear headlight aren't working. I tried changing the bulbs but that didn't work. I think it must be a problem with the actual bulb holder thing, are there any common faults that it could be?
Also, are there any guides laying about for removing the front grill because I don't want to break something by doing something wrong, I had a look in the DIY section but couldn't find anything.
Cheers,
Dan

Don't worry about the front grill, when you see it you'll be like oh wait soooooooooo simple, if you're still worried ask a friend or relative that knows how to take it off. It's the simplest thing to do to your car trust me. As for the bulbs the only common issue was the cables coming out of the socket or becoming loose to the socket causing my headlight adjustment not to work take a look that the cables are attached well to the adapters.
In the back of my car there is a wet patch on the floor, where your feet would go if you were sitting in the back. I have no idea where its coming in, my guess is probably underneath but I really wouldn't know. Any ideas where it could be coming from, how I would find out where its coming from and what to do when i find out where its coming from?
Cheers,
Dan

If you can't find the code on the car give VW a ring stating your registration they should be able to back track and tell you your exact color and code, if your planning on getting paint for touching up then always buy paint from dealer not halfrauds trust me.Dan 6N wrote:Does anyone know what the name of the colour of my car is? I got the same color and CBA to ring VW to find out either lol
