Hi all,
Just joined and noticed the other day that my Polo is missing one of it's headlight washer covers (no idea how!!!). Found out from the dealer that fairly cheap to replace unpainted but they wanted nearly £50 to paint it the same colour as the car (Reflex Silver I think).
My question is does anybody know where I could get one that is already painted?
Thanks
Simon

Yeah, well easy to spray something this size yourself & will cost you the price of paint and laquer.pip_polo wrote:welcome mate. if i was you i'd buy one, unpainted and spray it yourself. if you get a tin from vw it'l not cost much, and cuz it's not a big area the finish wont show up so easy enough.

Yep, a decent bodyshop will charge you less than £10, if you provide the colour matched paint (£10 from dealers), they have so much primer and laquer lying around (and they'll use so little) they won't charge you for that. All in all costing £20. you amy get lucky though and they may have your paint already, meaning you'd save even more!!
That's much better than paying £5-10 primer, £10 laquer, £10 main coat and whatever sandpaper costs thesedays, plus the effort of actually doing it!
