Thats pretty damn clean.


But theres NO way i'm letting him get one over on me, i NEED a VW/Audi thats cleaner than that - so post pics below :D

It probably wasn't even that clean at the factory (for the base or the parts). And here I thought I'd splashed out on the cleaning because I couldnt face up to removing the (3mm of hardened) road salt and shelled out a full £4.99 for a scrub and underbody/chassis wash at the BP garage*... someone's ruined a couple of toothbrushes there i'll wager.

* even at minimum wage, it's far more worth putting in the equivalent extra hour-and-ten at the shop to not have to dick around in the near-freezing cold for a solid 90 minutes with endless buckets of hot water (antifreeze screenwash froze up on contact with the screen, wednesday)
