:-engine mounting snapped
-the rings that hold the cambelt on are grinding away at my engine bay
-cv joint snapped
-clutch cable went, just as i got on the motorway
-when i was trying to get it into gear i managed to shaft my gearbox
-2 bald tyres
-anti roll bar drop link 'disapeared'
-front grille flew off when i was on the motorway
-fused my cigarete lighter, cd player and central locking

yea thats about all i can remember at the moment, but this car is doing my head in
Take it off the road as it seems unsafe and the sensible thing to do, that car needs serious attention don't know how it passed MOT! Get another run around for the time being until this one is fixed (which will cost you a lot, either sell it or keep it as a project car).

I read back a bit:

Your key doesn't fit the rear lock? Two possible issues, they either changed the rear boot lock with one of a scrappy, or did that to the front locks. Now you got a situation where you do not know what locks are original with the car or not. Only advice would be to re-order all original locks and keys from the dealers pre-cut from Germany (best option) if you need advice on how to break into the car let me know as I've done it plenty of times where I've left the key in my MK4 1.0 with no central locking, if you got central locking I don't think I can help to unlock it.

Erratic rev issue could be down to many things:
Dirty throttle body
Oxygen sensor
Lambda sensor
Idle control valve
Possible leak somewhere in the engine, ie, gaskets manifold causing ECU panics.

Oil light, oil sensor could be playing up or check your oil in case the filters etc weren't fitted to well you might be slowly loosing oil as you drive?

My best advice would be sell it or have it as a project car, disassemble it and rebuild it like new, but it's your choice.

The advice above seems a good start. I think you got too many issues with the car and its plain bad luck so sell it off. if your thinking of having a major project then keep it.

On the erratic revs issue I think i've mentioned earlier what else to check. Other then what polo-sib mentioned you should try;

Distributor and coil or the temp sendor.

the revs where sorted by the dealer, and my uncle fixed everything else, all i need now is a new gearbox, because if i dont hold it in third gear it pops out.

the oil leak isnt bad, but its burning loads of oil.

i have got central locking, and i put the old door handles off my old polo on, so i now have two keys lol

the boot dosent look like a scrapper, because it has the same dealer under plate things on the number plate, and i doubt they would put them back on, the lock just seems siezed up.

my uncle put a new oil sensor on it, but it is still going beep n flashing, so im wondering if there is another oil temp sensor or something?

but apart from that everythings good!!

i would scrap it, but i bought a full system powerflow for it for £250
bmc induction kit for £180, weitec dampers n springs for £280 est, angel eyes for £200 est, 4 new tyres for my wolfrace alloys for £250

and allllll the work thats gone into making it work lol

im thinking about putting this into storage and just buying a brand new kia magentis, because they are on 0% finance

i really dont know wat to do, if i sell it on, it will only come back to haunt me again, because the person i sell it to will get about 200 yards down the road and something will have snapped or broken lol

any ideas? lol

Sell it with full honesty with an honest price and warn the person you will not take a refund, if you tell them the issues before hand and they still buy it then its a fair deal. But obviously you won't get much for it.

The rear lock could be a component inside snapped and that's what is causing you the hassle, I read somewhere on here that someone else had that issue. As for the two different key sets that you have done, I would try and get just one key set for the car, if worse comes to worse and you have to sell it having one set of keys will give you an easier time.

As for the whole "it eats oil", it seems a bit strange, mine done that until I did an oil and filter change followed by a service done by myself then the issue went away, maybe another flush and a better oil?

Did you change the CV joint yourself or did you get someone else to do it?

Are all the engine mounts (2 on the engine, one on the gearbox) straight?
