Welcome mate, another green one
Not a fan of the kits but that bumper isn't bad on its own on a dark car so looks ok. Like you said already, needs to come back down to earth for all the mods to work and look stunning. Atleast bring it down 60mm and then it should look great. been thinking to get mk5 rears for mine so yours is a perfect pic to sell me.
Whats the plans after lowerage?

Car looks nice mate, can I ask how you got the GTI style front grille? I want to do the same to mine.
Get it lowered though, doesn't do the car justice at that height!

BBS RXii's in black. Wouldn't mind a set of those in the original finish.

Yeh BBS RXIIs, in a black finish with polished lip.
They come standard on the 6N2 GTi, you can get a set of them from £180-350, depending on the condition.

i made the gti stripe with some chrome trim, and red trim tape over the top. all from halfords. if u use just red trim tape it looks very flat.

Thats the problem with aftermarket kits unfortunetly. Try going 55-60 on the front and 60 at the back if the bumpers an issue

I'd put your OEM bumper back on and slam it

^^ seconded if the lowerage isn't enough with this bumper.
Slight drop with an aftermarket bumper=
Silly chaffing with OEM bumper=
