Electric Fan not working - Possible relay problem???

Hello,

Hopefully someone can help me.

I have got a 1.4 16v Mk5 SE and the electric fan is not kicking in.

If I turn the engine off and pull out the red fuse on the battery tray it spins up and then stops after it has cooled the engine down and if I put the fuse back in the fan stops straight away. A few people has said to me this a relay problem.

However, where are the relays and how do I know which one it is and how do I fix it?

Does the relay sound like the problem?

Could well be m8. A wiring diagram would be your best bet to help you.
