6n2 GTI brakes onto a 6n?

as above anyone done this as ive bought some gti 256mmx25mm brakes and hubs,

fitted them and am having trouble with the driveshaft lengths, mine (1.6 8v) seem too long?

I've also got a 1.6 8v 6n and have just bought a 6n2 GTi whole rear axle.

Let me know how you get on as I'm not too far from you in Kent.

@ BIG4244: also swapped the CV-joints and housing? Then it should fit, is a straight swap, the bi-turbo's mk4 from holland is also rollin'& brakin'on this
