seriously though jason.......just forget about other peoples ideas!

what do you want out of your car? what cars do you like?

i love the scene...fat RS, smooth and low!

@ tim - had a small bump at the front end so was repaired to make it cheap as its a daily.

i have a massive dilema that know1 can realy help me with though, where do i put the number plate as i am smoothing the car the day i get it and i will have a fat intercooler in the middle bottom grill
ive been thinking small sqre plate on the corner evo style?

thats why i aint to keen on smooth bumpers ya never know were to put plate, dont like it in the usual place cos in my eyes wats point in smoothin then sticking plate back there lol, put it in the window on a sucker thingy? On sunvisor, you are allowed it in window i wud have thought, i went past a copper today and followed one today wit mine in window cos i put standard plate in for the weekend cos a bike show equals moody cops equals 30quid fine which 2 of my mates with golfs got not me tho ha :p , tom to be honest i will think of stuff soon, wheels are needed its just that is wat is stopping me its a big decision in my eyes the thing that sets the car, wat ya think modenlines wud rub like well wit a 185 tyre but im roughly 70plus down? I got a photoshop done with modenlines i admit i really liked em but dont wanna touch arches n buy them and rub like a bugga :(

i think modern lines look best on black polos though.....but i do love them!!
wheels are tough for a silver car i think....black or grey always seem to work best in my opinion. what do you think? i liked my car when it was on ronal turbos...i can put up a pic if u want?

as for the plate i loved mine where i used to have it....

Image

but i cant run it there because i will have an intercooler now!

Jason, by law the numberplate has to be placed on the front most part of the car, so yes it's illegal to have it in the front window.

Mines in the same place as Toms at the moment, but I like to think it's main location is completely off!

I wouldn't get 185s on 8s, it's pushing it a little and is likely to knock your speedo out.

Just get the modernlines and stop being such a wush!!! 8)

185's wont knock the speedo out as thats the width....and i ran 195 on an 8.5" rim!!
ive got 165/50 on the teledials

ummm like tim said just get the modern lines...as knobody has seen them realy on a silver GTI so it will be different
