£150 to £175 is reasonable pricing. Mine cost in that region.

I was offered a good set before for 100, but that was a good price.

I find them fine Tom, half leather ftw though. Much better grip than full leather!

I'd still go for half leather though whatever you get, Alcantara holds you better 8)

The GTi seats will be absolutely fine for that IMO, if your really worried just get a harness seat belt. You getting it striped out anyway aren't you? (so the harness' wouldn't get in the way of anybody in the backseat)

Get a nice pair of recaros like they had in the golf and old shape Audi tt sport coupe..... Really nice and they will actually hold you like a 3 year old

Do you mean these ones?

If so, I would certainly second that opinion, they're superb seats.

I like really simple looking seats, nothing too sporty.

Although these are seriously hot 8)

the the recaro pole positions are very nice seats but i want something that will hold me and not be too rally spec!

has to be all leather too...i like alcantara but not in the polo!

im thinking R32 seats would be mega wide though?

oh yeh definitely, I was just admiring them 8)

Yeh don't go to rally spec, bucket seats look too chav imo.

To be honest mate I think you'd be fine in the standard seats with decent seatbelts, it's not like your pulling ridiculously high power figures.

The TT ones Phil has would be real nice though (pretty much my ideal seats)
they're OEM, leather and miint 8)
