If you have fully comprehensive insurance, it'll cost you the usual glass excess of £60. Contact your insurer and they'll refer you to a local place like Autoglass.

I got one last week cost me 160 mates rates so 180 -190 i would guess!

i was expecting it to be between 200 and 300 so thats a bit of a relief, would you just recommend going to say auto glass or a small business?

You might be able to get it on the cheap but when I was quoted from Autoglass for my rear windscreen which some bugger put through it was £341.

have rung around a few places this morning,
auto glass wanted 348 thats inlcuding 20% off. woo
rac wanted 138 + vat which i thought was reasonable until a little one man band chap rang me back and quoted me £110 all in. so its been done this afternoon. auto glass robbing t*ts!

You could've had three windscreens done with the private guy and still be cheaper than autoglass!
