Hesitating engine

Post by Ade. »

It seems to happen in any gear, sometimes it just doesn't want to shift. Its in the dealer today and they've ordered a new set of HT leads which they think is the root cause. Guess I'll find out tomorrow when they call me back.

Anyone had this problem?

Could be that, or could be a faulty temperature sensor.

I changed mine last year and it perked right up!

Ta for that Josh, do you know anything about a flatspot the early GTi suffers from? I remember reading something in one of the VW mags a couple of months back.
