clutch/pedal box problems

hi to everyone! i just wondered if anyone can help me? in november i had a new clutch fitted and its been fine until now. if i'm in any gear and i take it over 4500rpm it dont want to go in gear and the only way it does go into gear is if i really push it with a lot of effort. ive had formula1 who fitted the clutch look at it and they got a vw technician look at it and they looked at the pedals and they have said that the pedal box has broke and that is the cause of the stiff gear change! has anyone else had the stiff gear change when the pedal box has gone?

Yep, impossible to select gears and a squeeky clutch pedal are the symptoms.
