I'm not going to claim as all i did was ruin the front bumper into a V-shape and nothing else, it would cost me more in excess rather than private repair, the accident will be probably be blamed on me obviously but I want advice on where I stand if I claim on whiplash for myself and my girlfriend even though the accident will most like be my fualt. I got the ambulance report for her, my insurance is fully comp, I've missed my weekend job due to the whiplash, but I am going to the GP first thing monday in regards to the whiplash. Any advice would be really be appreciated, many thanks in advance.
Crash advice
Crash advice
Had another crash, this one my fualt by the looks of it. I Was following traffic when it all suddenly stopped to allow a police car out the station, slammed the brakes, brakes locked, slidded across and into the rear of a car. Other car suffered small dent in rear bumper, no one was hurt in the car I hit. I had two passengers in my car, me and my girlfriend got really bad whiplash, had to get a ambulance down as the belt cut her neck during the whip. One police man saw the entire scenario but refused to get involved
with stament or as a witness, said "let the insurance companies battle it out".

How would my girlfriend go around the claim? -Mysteryboy
Thanks phil, been in an accident in a friends car at 120mph suffered nothing, hit a micra at 15 to 20mph and got the worst whiplash ever. Doesn't make sense
I'm surprised there wasnt a pile up as the cars where only a few cm's apart when every one braked for the police car that pulled out and turned the sirens on without looking, I know they have to be in a hurry but talk about choose the right moment. The micra was going to be settled for £50 as it was a minor dent and I broke the boot lock mechanism, but since this happened next to a police station, things got blown out of proportion like GTA with six stars
So now things are going through insurance.
Really disappointed in the way the police man acted he saw that his fellow friend pull out without looking and refused to give a statment or get involved.

You'll probably have to write it down in the statement in order for her to get compensated
Thanks guys for all the advice, my girlfriend suffered alot more than me, my backs now coming back to working condition but hers is still quite bad. But she is in a mixed mind to whether claim or not, I'd say go for it you suffered, but she's like im your girlfriend... ah women.
