Well, haven't done much moddin'lately, just working on getting the mk4 reading for MOT, also have a tiny leak in the air-ride tank, so fixing that this weekend as well.
Also had a big set-back with the daily driving mk2 Polo

The engine stopped on my while driving, had to get me dad and his ever-running Toyota to tow me home
if I get the mk4 MOT-ready this weekend, I hopefully have some time left for checking the mk2 totmorrow.
But, there's a bright side too to last week, got my grilfriend into buying her very one VAG-car
It's a 1998, 1,0 8v Seat Arosa, and it's as orange as f*ck!
she totally got in love with the colour

Done under 100K kilometers, engine runs smooth as can be, was the old car from my bi-trubo'd mk4 mate's his little sister, so the car has always been taken good care off! 15" rims, bit lowered, new model Arosa rear-lights, Remus backbox, K&N induction, nice thing to start with for her

Well, haven't been here recently, lot of news onthe car, but to keep it short, here's the biggest recent news for the mk4:

It's the total injection system from a Honda CBR 900 RR motorcycle, with enginecode sc50, or commonly better known as throttle bodies.
So the new set-up will include 4 throttles sizing in 42mm in diameter, as to the sh*tty little throttle of 35mm in diameter I'm currently running on.
Will it fit? It sure as h*ll will, after some custom work of course, even the boys over at Sorg Motorsport use these exact throttle bodies on there track-polo-engines Sorg Motorsport and if they can install these, I might as well give it a go then
Only problem is, is that my original VW motormanagement can't run on these, so I will have to start saving money to afford me a stand-alone motormanagement system, will cost something, but surely will pay itself off in the end

The stand-alone management I'm planning to get includes a cold-start-aid-function, here's some more info about it --> http://kms.vankronenburg.nl/ (sites seems to be under up-date, but hopefully start to feature the manuals again soon)wadders wrote:Will you have to run a manual choke with these TB's? Or will the new ECU allow you to manage that?
Thank you very much for that link m8!! Think I'm gonna send the owner a request for that CAD-drawing for the inlet-manifold gasketBerseker wrote:eheh jarno.. always at work on your polo..
