Has my pedal box been replaced?

Has my pedal box been replaced? Apparently there is a sticker either under the carpet in the boot or in the log book. I have a sticker in both of these places but I cannot see any mention of a pedal box.

Can anyone please describe this sticker? I can't find one in the sticky thread.

I suppose I could just phone VW...

It's usually just a sticker with a dealer stamp on, nothing particulary special about it.

Just ring VW or your local dealer who should be able to confirm it with the registration number.

From what you've said, it would sound like it has been done.

I phoned VW. They said that it wasn't a official recall and that VW's "goodwill" only lasts for 5 or 6 years. They also said that no recalls were outstanding on my car, but it looks like there has never been any work done to the pedal box.

Looks like I'll just have to keep an eye out for any problems with it...

Wasn't an official recall?!?! They sent a letter to every Polo 6N2 GTi owner in the UK!

Tell them it certainly was an offical recall as it was done through VOSA:

Do they reinforce the current pedal box when re-called? Or replace it with a totally different one?
