Breaking a 1.4 8v cl. 1996N in white

Post by jameslwt »

Hi

I have a white 5 door that took a hit and was sandwiched between two other cars - both rear quarters and 1 rear door mashed up. So I'm left with a car to break - most bits are still available although not all....

Bonnet

Boot lid

Full Interior - Immaculate. In black with coloured striping.

Engine and all other mechanical bits. Please note this car has only done a genuine 35k and it has a full main dealer service history. Ie it is perfect. It had a recent cambelt fitted in September last year.

Wind screen

Electric Mirrors

Full exhaust system inc downpipe and cat - in vgc

Front bumper - bit of scuffing but nothing major

Gearbox - excellent.

Most lights

Basically this car was mechanically very very good. The interior is perfect and most of the bodywork is good - well, what's left, and what wasn't squashed in the shunt!

Let me know if interested - car is very near Southampton but I work away in Somerset during the week, but can normally sort something out.

Thanks

check either the front page on the service book, there should be a sticker there and it would tell u alll the details about the car

or lift up the carpet where the boot is...and look towards the spare wheel bit...it should tell u there aswell its on a sticker....

seats

Post by jameslwt »

Hi

No the seats are different I'm afraid. But all are in vgc - and very easy to fit if you wanted to replace the whole lot...will consider reasonable offers!

It does have electric windows - which bits do you need?

:D Cheers

Interior is black with the red/blue/green striping. Same shape as yours but standard 8v I think??

Drivers door inc mechanism has gone I am afraid. And it was on steel wheels. Sorry!

Gearbox code is (I think) AEX if that makes sense? Or DDH or EK. Looking at the handbook, it's hard to tell which code refers to which item/thing!

Cheers
