hehe i know, but with it being my first car, my insurance is £1500 a year
ehhe yeah, well im deffinitly gonna try and have a couple of sets of wheels eventually... i recon once i get it looking how i want i wont wanna change its apperence haha. oh well...
cheers mate=]
yeah i need to shop around abit really, i havnt taken out insurance yet, as its currently sat at my parents house.. lol that was my best quote on confused.com, but i recon ill be able to get better, anyone know any good insurance compainies worth checking out for new drivers?
Wouldn't go with Quinn myself as once you pass your test, they put the cost up. I was quotes £800 until luckly when I falsely put down I had passed, it went to £2100 odd
Don't go mad with mods as it can void your insurance, although a few of my mates said when they didn't declare and crashed their car that they had to pay a fee. Makes you wonder why it's even worth declaring sometimes
If your young then Endsleigh seem to be pretty good and being a student helps with them. I wouldn't stick to a quote on a website, you can always phone and get insurance cheaper.
yeah quinn can be a bit sh*t like that but i had a friend who got his insurance on his green license n when they tried to raise it after he past he had a good old slaggin match with them sayin they never said anything bout puttin the premium up n he managed to keep it low... but yeah bit risky imo, but def look into adrian flux if ur gonna be modding.
cheers aloy guys, ill have to give a few places a ring round, used moneysupermarket.com today and got a quote from quickfit(of all places) for £1300... im expecting to pay £1500 really, was abit silly getting a 16v as a first car... lol
HIC are legendary when it comes to quotes and only increase price dependant on bhp increase. They quoted me £800 cheaper closest quote! However, from no where yesterday started hearing from other dubbers who've joined that they are quite shocking when it gets to dealing with a claim

Try ringing around for the bet quotes mate. Moneysupermarket and places like that aren't that really good and accurate of young drivers and modifed cars. Especially the latter.
cool, yeah i think ill have to ring around a few places really. pffft im ahving second thoughts about lowering until i have a years no claims, its going to put up my premium by about £300 i guess i could just not declare, but then id be in s**t if the insurance refused to pay out. its only going to be 3rd party fire and teft anyway, so im gonna be doing my best not to write it off!
