Handed My Polo Back .

Post by Stephen123 »

Polo is a year old tomorrow , took it back to garage on Wednesday with another list of faults and got a courtesey car from them . They phoned me to say only one of the faults was fixed and they are waiting parts for two of the faults and the other faults they can't get to the bottom of . So I told them to keep the car I dont want it back and they can whistle dixie for their courtesey car . Its been in the garage more time than ive had hot dinners in the year ive had it . I will keep you guys up to date with the saga .
p s I think I might go banger racing with the courtesey car LOL !!!!!!!!

Sounds like another bad one.

What is wrong with it? All I have (touch wood) is a dash rattle.

Oh and the wind blew my door into a wall

Well Im on my 2nd set of front seatbelts and a set of tensioners , Dash rattle , Knocking / Creaky suspension , both quarter panels at back are falling off , horn goes off at random , rear washer is defunct , ive had bushes put in suspension and new suspension arms + a few other bits and pieces ..... That's All . Fed up booking it in to garage so It can stay there . What really pisses me off is the s**t and the lies they hit you with in the garage . Oh and it sounds like an old london black hackney cab ( thats the 3 cylinder engine ) but I just turn up the music so that dont bother me that much .

Well, it probably is! The 3 cylinder engines won't run as smooth as a four pot :?

Got my car back today all faults fixed apart from the suspension problem . Dealer has ordered the new modified suspension bushes and apparently there is a some sort of specialised tool to fit these bushes .
Been on to VW customer service and they assure me the kits are available now but demand is greater than supply at the moment but my dealer shall have them ASAP . After the bushes have been fitted ive to phone VW and they will sort out some compensation for all my inconvienience . Will keep you guys posted on any further developments .
On a lighter note 1 mile away from the dealer after picking up car the service light came on ........... bas88rd !!!!!!!!!!! .
Any body know how much first service costs from a VW garage ( UK ) ?

Typical!
Mines going in for it's first service at 16000 miles. I have phoned around, the cheapest so far is £138 and the most expensive £190

It's like getting insurance quotes.
