The price should be around 68pounds, not 60pounds
clutch kits
Yes, this is right, the pressure plate do not line up with the engine locating lugs.
My mechanic drilled a hole, or holes to line up. He said this was only a simple operation with zero bad effect of operation.
I also changed the clutch cable. I remembered the day I picked up my car, I even didn't know how to operate.....the clutch was just too smooth and light
Bit of an update.
The clutch listed previously does not fit!
The three locating holes on the pressure plate do not line up with the engine locating lugs.
Awaiting a call back from Sachs!
I hope Tigz could have a answer.

The Sachs clutch kit 3000.581.001 also fits fine for my ARC engine.andyniceday wrote:just for anyones reference the eurocarparts sachs kit

The kit comes with the release bearing and the only extra that is needed for clutch change is the "guide sleeve" (085141181).
The ball bush (6N0711135) and bellow (6N0711167A) of the gear selector linkage may also be renewed at time of clutch change, this correct the marked free play on my gear stick.
The Sachs clutch is much lighter than my previous two stock clutch (Valeo)that i've got previously from stealer .
Sorry mate, missed this.wulee wrote:I hope Tigz could have a answer.Tim_GTi wrote:I think so, read what Tigz says on the next page of that thread........wulee wrote:
