Think the V2's worked out about £100 dearer.
I just couldn't justify the extra money (although it was there) because I knew I wouldn't touch the damping once it was set up.

TBH I'd prefer not to have the option of damping settings, I would always be fiddling to try and get it just right, and would never be satisfied.

Still not sure, are coilovers easy to look after? all i want is the car to look right with the 16's on. If that is all i want would i be wasting my money on coil overs? should i go for something like a set of koni adjustables and springs?

As long as you pre-grease them. And then grease and re-adjust them approx twice annually to stop them seizing, they'll be fine.
If your just after the stance, then why not buy cheap coilovers?
Look on eBay for TA Technix, they're Around £210 and are quite a popular choice.

Just buy yourself some proper coilovers as mentioned before.
KW, H&R or Bilstein.
You won't need to do stupid things like grease them every year. Just get a proper set of coilovers and be done with it.

Well said
I adjusted my coilovers a few weeks back after having them on the car for over a year and had no problems at all.

I can't comment on what those are like, but you could get KW Variant 1's if you were willing to spend about £70-£80 more.
