It looks good but other than sliding it in between the bumper and grill I haven't found a way to get it secured properly. I tired a glue gun but that was cr@p. I've taken it off as I think it will come off anyway given a turn of decent speed.

I got my piping from vworks41 who's on these forums. Same as Tims. I do think it needs supergluing to the grill though. Mine isn't at the moment and I'm sure it will come off after using the Jet wash or heavy rain.

you dont have to glue it, it will sit fine, i just cut some slots in three places, where the grill clips go into the bumper, then as it was sitting a bit proud, i got a hair dryer, and used it on the beading, as its plastic it moulds to the shape of the grill great.
if you are looking some i have some spare, you have to buy it in a roll, £5 plus postage and its yours

Yeh mate its definitely worth a purchase. Much better than the tape stuff. I stuck mine on with gaffer tape on the inside of the grill, it holds brilliantly.

The only problem I have with it, is Ive recently bought a new GTi grill badge, and the colour difference between the reds is quite larg. It's not vibrant red, so looks a tad pink in comparison. Not a major problem though.

i just masked and sprayed the stripe onto my grille. if your paient enough its worth while doing. mines been done about a year now and its still looking good. it even withstood the lorry detergent at work which takes the signwriting off the doors!
