scrubbing issues

Post by 1der »

hi guys,

My front passenger left tyre is scraping and has worn through the arch liner onto the metal, however it is not doin it on the drivers side.

When i measured from the wheel centre to the back of the arch, there was a 15mm difference in distance between the drivers and passengers side.

Does anybody know what could have caused this so be so different?

Thanks

Hi 1der,

I have the same problem with 16" wheels and 30mm lowered,
left front only, yes.

I had measured wheelbase , roughtly the same, or different within 5~10mm.

Had the control arm changed, ball joint changed, and switched L/R suspension, no different! :?

I think that could be chassis or subframe deformed.

I was about to say it could be them, or dodgy springs. But i just realised the difference your on about is in width, not the height....

That's what I thought, but i think he's saying the wheel is too close to the arch width ways not height ways, am i correct?
