NEW CLUTH :(

HI. i went to pick up my car today from Volkswagen after having the pedal box replaced. i paid £168 and now they are telling me i need a new clutch which will cost me around £500 plus fitting. ROBBERS. and they also said if my pedal box brakes again and its because of the clutch then i am not covered to have a replacement. ARGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!! any help on a new clutch...?? THANKS

£500 + fitting! surely thts not right, the clutch itself for my 1.4 was £80, official vw one, thn £180 to fit it.
