Bromley Pageant of Motoring 2008 (Warning; lots of pics)

Post by Ollie_R »

To make up for not being able to go to Inters, I thought I'd pop down the road to this little retro-fest down the road from me (it's not little at all, it's the largest one-day car show in the world, apparently).

you talking about the ones with the white square/circles on the sides? if so the one with the square is a mk2 and it is gorgeous! seen it an No-Rice i couple of times and it is gorgeous, although i prefered it without the racing decals on it!

Great pics ollie, looks like an awsome show, nice variety of cars!

This was not a show for the blinkered, believe me. The Fords were in another world compared to the VW's, they're amazing. This had to be my favourite car there;

The 2 Golfs and the Polo were there promoting "Retro Cars" magazine, who are published by the same people as PVW, I even saw Elliot from the mag, starstruck, I was :roll:

B-random- I actually did get a picture of the 2002, s**t photobucket missed it out :roll:

Overall, the show was pretty decent, and was a pleasant change from the old boring Dub shows. Although the organisation was p***-poor and the prices for entry, food and other stuff were astonishing :shock:

Yeah the mk1 is Jelly's - he now works at The Phirm - and is a TB'd valver
The mk2 is Pola's - VR6 fun :D
