Forge Strut Brace

Got a polished forge strut brace for my GT , tried to fit it tonight but getting the black vacum box off is a mission any ideas , as im not keen on paying a garage to do it.

the vacuum box unlolts, then the brace is fitted in to place with the vacuum box on tof of the braces mounting part then all gets re bolted, if you search the guides area, a guy called dino has fitted the seat sport one to his previous 9n tdi

its the same concept and im sure it will help you out

Finally got it fitted , was a pig to fit and adjust have taken a load of paint off round the strut cap thing which is annoying but its finally on.
