hight of plates?

is there any legal issue with the high of your number plates? :? possibly a dumb question.

Nope, only that the rear one has to be lit somehow for night driving I believe. But it must be visible directly and via your rear mirror I think (for both).

THe front must be forward facing but i'm not sure about height. I did hear something about it years ago so can't remember which!

The rear plate does have to be at the furthest part of your car I've heard so someone may be able to enlighten us on that. Thats why having the plate inside the rear window doesn't really count nor can you light it.

the front plate has to be on the furthest most point of your car also.
