I'm not a walking specs-book on bike-carbs you know  I have no idea what diameter etc. these are. And to be honest, I'm not really into the carb stuff, I've always fancied injection and electornic fuel systems. My knowledge on bike carbs is very limited, sorry m8 :(

Been a while since I've posted some pics and all here, so let's start of with the best recent one:

Image

Third price on the Dutch Polo meeting 8) it was the first real time I deliberately entered a Show&Shine with the mk4 in it's present state, so was quite surprised to win, considering the competition.

Also got my BBS GTI's done and mounted.
Centre's sprayed:
Image

Put together again, with brand-new Nankang Ultrasport-II 165-50-15's:
Image

And mounted on the mk4, with 50mm spacers up front, and 60mm on the rear-axle:

And well, this might be a bit of a painfull item, since England isn't in the European Championship, but Holland is, and doing quite well, so to support the team, I kind of raiped the mk2

Image

It's hilareous to see how people respond when I drive by in the car

Small shot in the dark, played a bit with the contrast etc.
Image

Just to give a hint of how flashy the fluor-orange wheelcaps and grill look like

that black polo behind yours has got some evil wheels on it (evil as in damn nice) and how the hell does that purple polo drive....... well anywhere actually?

on the other hand ur car looks well nice, much better with the spacers on it. looks evil yet kind and thoughtful....... dont ask im just blabbering on again now..... :D

i thought about spacers but dont think id go that space as good as they look will prob only do it a little bit.

The black mk4 has got the chrome version of the Brock B5's, not my style though, way to flashy, espacially on a black car, and the purple mk4 in the other picture car drive easily, he's got the same trick as me, air-ride is the way to go mate, best suspension ever. He just combined it with low bumpers and worked wheel arches, to fit the wheels in better, so he can go lower then my air-ride set-up :x

Nope, wasn't too soon, the paintjob been on the mk2 well before the European Championship started, so has been on about a week or 4 I guess, took it off yesterday. So it served it's purpose right 8)

Well, been some time since I've been here and up-dated this topic, so here's the up-dates in the short-version 8)

Bought myself a set of Eibach stabilisers, on for the front axle (22mm diameter) and one for on the rear-axle (also 22mm diameter), Eibach doesn't make these sets anymore for the mk4 Polo, so I'm really glad to have gotten my hands on these :D rear is already mounted, front will go one soon when I have al the parts I need to mount it to the sub-frame. And boy, can you feel the effect of that rear-stabiliser  really works well!

Also had some trouble with the airride set-up, up front it didn't work well, so took the whole front-system of, and found this:

Right, all I could say and think at the moment was F*CK!!! This little sh*tter costed me 180 euro, so rang up G.A.S. in Germany right away, and ordered a new air-pocket, and to help me relieve my pain, also ordered a remote control for the airride, just to keep me busy this winter.

Two cleaned and repaired front shockers:

Also bought myself a set of electronically adjustable and heated side-mirrors, plus bought myself a 19liter air-tank for the air-ride set-up, chromed! looks smashing, but haven't got a photo yet  currently running a 11,5 liter tank, so the suppy will increase plenty with the new tank

And visited some shows lately, 2 weekendshows too, Automaxx in Holland and VAG-fest in Belgium, and got me a "souvenire" from both shows

Image

Kinda like the new looks of my garage
