Indicator stalk!?

Post by chrischap2003 »

Has anyone else experienced the indicator stalk problem?

Basically the indicator sometime continues to click as if its stuck...the lights dont work, it just clicks...

I know the fault is VERY common on Skoda Octavias

just short of £50 for new indicator stalk, bad times :(

from personal experience it isn't the stalk but the hazard light switch, that incorporates the relay for the indicators. use to d alot of these on octavia's fabias and now old shape a3's and a2's urgh

definately the indicator stalk. They are the same as fitted on the Mk 4 Polos so easy to pick up at a scrap yard for a few quid.

Disconnect the battery.... Dont reconnect it until you are sure you have the airbag plugged back in again....

Dont drop the steering wheel or put it in a flaming pit...
