Bulb change

Post by Scorpio1 »

I have been changing some bulbs on my TDI recently and have to say they make a nice difference.

I put Osram Diadem's in and they look really good when they're off with a blue tint but light up pure orange.

Also put in Osram Silver Star H1's and they give a much sharper, whiter light. The old bulbs were dimmer than the xenon's!! They remain legal so I am happy, even if it has been blo@dy awful changing bulbs on a TDI

I can't recommend www.powerbulbs.com enough and you still get free bluevision sidelight bulbs and a 10% discount for being a member here :)

Are you talking sidelight bulbs here?

I have a horrible yellow tinge on my sidelights, the projected Xenons  make this stand out even more, so these obviously need replacing. Would you recommend the bluevision sidelights?

Cheers

Yup bluevision are cool, but with xenon’s they will still look yellow, and I have never known them to last as long as normal sidelights bulbs.
They also seem to illuminate less in front of you.

If you have xenon's you're better off going for Image PIAA
