urgent help required lowering

trying to lower the front of my car, passenger side went fine but drivers side is being a ****

it wont drop far enough to get the strut out, driveshaft seems to be stopping it dropping...arb is disconnected

any ideas?

dude,
you need to remove the driveshaft, gearbox end, that'll give you enough room to remove the strut.

well we couldn't get the ball joint to split but ended up disconnecting some various other bits and managing to get it in with the springs under full compression...what a bloody job!

its not hard tbh, just the drivers side you need to remove the driveshaft from the gearbox side.

we didn't remove the driveshaft, we did it a very unorthodox way
