Have a question. Which is the best spring to go for? I have heard Eibach's(30mm) dont lower the car much.....is it true? and also is it true that if i go for the 35mm H&R springs then i will need to get shorter shocks????
I am still not sure which one to go for....but i am comfortable with 30mm springs with standards on the car......so guys and gals please help decide
Also lastly what is the worse that i can happen to the suspension components once the springs are fitted as I'll be voiding the warrenty?
to do with the warrenty - i don't think it will void it unless the fault is directly associated with the springs.
i have 50mm and i personally think they lower the car nicely, but probs will need new shorter shocks with that. 30mm isn't really that much but noticable and shocks aren't really required.

well mate i spoke to the VW service desk fella and he said that it could void the warrenty so i am still a bit confused.....
So mate take it 30mm eibachs would be noticable!!!!
something to bear in mind is that the eibach pro kit is the official VW lowering kit for the car.
I had it on my car and tbh, it handled superbly.
Only took them off to replace with coilovers as they weren't low enough!
I have a 1.4 sport, was going to order a set of 30mm springs off of vag parts will I still get a 30mm drop or just 15mm coz its allready 15mm lower than the other spec polos? Surley if they are offical then they should not void your warranty, could just say they were on from new kind of thing.

I agree with you mate.. ..but the fella said that it will invalidate the suspension component warrenty because it is not a recommended manufacture specification for the car...... ......
