Which bulbs?

Post by s-l-i-x »

Time has come to get some decent bulbs for my car as one of them has blown. I have been on powerbulbs website and it has given me a list of different bulbs.

I basically want bulbs that are going to give me the best viewing at night and legal of course lol

Here is the list:

Which ones are the best?

Also i've heard there is a discount code tim was talking about? Anyone have this?

Thanks guys :D

I've got the Philips VisionPlus for my high-beam bulbs, can't fault them, they really are impressive. Can't really comment on these low-beam/dipped bulbs though, I have my OEM xenons so haven't tried any of these bulbs!

No idea re the discount code, sorry :(

I have an audi a4 and was in a similar predicament - in the end from "powerbulbs advice" i bought the Phillips x-treme power ones, and put in the free phillips blue vision sidelights along with osram silverline indicator bulbs (I think thats what they are called)- have to say I've been pretty pleased with them - obviously nothing compared to the xenons I used to have in the gti, but still for a standard bulb I was pretty impressed - especially driving at night on country lanes.

I've heard nightbreakers aren't too shabby.

I've tried powerblue and powerplus bulbs from them before and wasn't too impressed. They were competing with my Xenons though :?

Well.. my bulbs arrived today but they have sent wrong ones, I had another look and they have full beam bulbs under the normal driving lights, so I have 2 bulbs for my full beams that won't fit my main headlights

Went with Philips X-Treme Power H7, but as I said they have sent me main beam bulbs :?

Might send back and go with Osram Night Breaker H1's
