I've taken some better pics (in daylight) which are the same URL as the old ones, so refresh the page if you've got pics of the car at night.
I've spent all afternoon using my 4 years cleaning expertise to buff some life back into the paintwork. It's now sporting Mk3 GT steel wheels and hubcaps, which have wider, lower profile tyres on them. The rust spots have been rubbed down and touched up, the paintwork's been treated to a session of hard graft, and the arches have been given a coat of AutoGlym Bumper Care (I'm gonna have to hide my cleaning products, my brother likes them!).
And all I can say is, this car is MINT. It's got straighter bodywork than mine! There are a few rusty bits on the wings and the bonnet's a little creased in the middle (someone's been up to something!) but it's in great condition for a 19 year old car. It looks totally refreshed!
Unfortunately it's now dark so it's not the best conditions to take photos, but I managed to get one to give you an idea:
Will it be coming to shows? Who knows. It's a sweet little car that's for sure! Plus Tom's getting interested in doing a few bits and pieces to it (clear indicators, that sort of thing) so it'll be very sweet.
