Snapped bolt!!

Just snaped a bolt that holds the grill on. Its on the top n/s of the grill. How can I get it out and where can I get another one? Cheers guys.

snapped bolts usually need a pair or mole-grips to unscrew them out (vice-grips). or you'll have to get a very small drill and drill it out, gradually going to a bigger and bigger drill bit.....

If you can remove the other bolts and then find that there is a projecting bit of bolt sticking up, try applying some proper release fluid - not just WD40 if possible, then fit a jacobs chuck to the bit of bolt sticking up, then try screwing in-out gradually until the bolt has eased off a bit then continue to unscrew it. You will need to go to a VW car dealership to order in some new bolts - unless they are stock items - good luck.

Alternatively, if this bolt is secured to a plate nut then you might manage to cut loose this plate nut if its removable and buy new nuts as well as new bolts.
