What ARB to choose & bushes...

I think the arb bushes on my car are knackered already. I'm looking to have the lower wishbone bushes replaced anyway so its a great excuse to get an uprated arb.

I know Jeff is using H&R with eibach pro street s (which ARB kit of the two do you have).

What ARB's do I get?

Whiteline 22mm Â£126 (popular on MK4 Golfs etc)
Eibach 22mm Â£145
H&R 20 mm Â£180
H&R 20 mm with droplinks Â£200

Prices include delivery. Just dont know what one to get.

I want to get the Ibiza cupra bushes. When getting them done its only worth doing the front rear one isn't it?

not sure which antiroll bar to go with but as for the bushs you want to get the front cupra bushs and also get a set of these fitted in the rear axle as well thats with ive fitted

also i know he will take 15 for them as i sent an offer bust found some cheaper off a forum so i didnt but them

I've bought them...should have made an even lower offer

Still much better than their new price. Are the rears diy'able to special tool/vice job?

To be perfectly honest, unless you are planning on doing a lot of hard driving with "4-up" I'd have left the rear beam bushes alone as the back wheels don't carry much weight at all - just keeps the fuel tank off the ground. Seeing as you've bought them, I'd get an indep VAG specialist to fit them and the Cupra TCA rear bushes at the same time - they should carry out a full four wheel re-alignment to true up the suspension.

I know what you meant. Now i've just got to find someone reasonable to do the job. I wasn't intent on doing the rears, but for the minimal cost when doing the fronts I suppose its worth it.

Then I know its at least done, and since ours is a 5dr on coilies and carries load, maybe wise doing so.

i have the h&r bar without the links, as the car only had 1750 miles on it when fitted, so it was not really needing them

you need to try them i fitted fronts and rears now the car handles like it lowered if there was nothing to be gained seat would have not made them like that

as for fitting you need a tool to fit them as the outer part of the bush is plastic and might break if your D I Y

Arent these just the same as the normal Polo ones?

Surely its the Cupra ones that start with 6LL that are the ones people want.

6LL 501 541 is the part number listed for the FR and Cuprs rear bushes.

You are really still talking about seeing a benefit from replacing the rear beam's bushes with Cupra/Fr are you - and not just talking about the front AND rear TCA bushes - just trying to clear up a point that's all!

yes the ones in the rear axle as the cupra/fr ones are solid too just like the front ones also there a really tight fit
