Retro Fit Aircon

Post by Clawz »

Hey all,

I´ve not been around in an awfully long time I know, but I still have the same old polo... a little worse for wear now that I live in spain but I have to admit that the lack or aircon is killing me!!

Is there any way of retro fitting aircon to a 9n polo?

I'm sure that there are companies that retro fir cars with A/C - but it will be very costly - I don't suppose you'd consider trading it in in (cold) UK and buying another one in (hot) Spain?

Hey :)

Normally I would say yes, but my car has a few dents in it over here and they really don´t give a crap about hitting other people on the roads in spain....

Which brings me on to the second problem and that´s that cars really hold their value over here... I wouldn´t expect to see a 2002 polo here for less than 5k euros...

so although nobody would buy mine here in spain (RHD and no aircon) nobody in england would give me the equivalent of what´s needed to buy a second hand car here in spain
