Petrol

Alrite guys, wondering if you can help me! I put a full tank in my car (44 litres) in my 1.2 and i usually get 300 odd miles out of it. However my needle didnt move when the petrol was in. So i know that i have a full tank but my car doesnt! Is there a sensor or anything?! Fed up with my polo atm! Too man problems! Thanks!

Common problem.

It likes to be generous at first, then breaks the news to you harshly by suddenly losing a 1/4 of a tank.

I think there was a long post about not too long ago.

Think he means he filled up but his fuel gauge didn't move up at all?

Was on 1/4 of a tank and filled up to full.... but the needle didnt move.... couple of days later needle went down and i just thought of it to be faulty...then the petrol light came on but thought it was wrong as i had only done half the miles i usually do.... and last night...... ran out of petrol at 1 in the morning haha! Thanks i'll have a look for the topic!
