OMP Lower Strut brace

Post by Mouse_GTI »

How much of a difference will this make, if at all, if I remove it. I got stuck down a dirt track last week and it has bent the brace so it is touching the centre pipe of the exhaust and vibrating at low revs. I had it fitted the same time as my coilovers so can't really say how much of an impact on the handling it has had on its own

mhmm..im going to get shot down in flames for this, but its 90% cosmetic on a polo... 5% placebo and 5% helpfull..

IMHO... Take the thing off...

If its bent it deffinately doesnt want to be on the car!

They are used on the VW Racing track cars so there must be something in it but usure how much you will notice, for normal road use.........more noticable is a rear ARB upgrade

This is quite interesting, because I'm fitting one to mine at some point in the future. I'm getting the upper and lower set for near enough the same price as the upper one would cost alone though, so I may aswell! :)

If you get it from Ybracer on Ebay - email him first and ask if he can do it cheaper - he will email you back a discount 10% off code when paying for them 8)

Im just about to get upper and lower - same reason as you - the lower comes basically free!

I got the lower and upper for £95 delivered this time 2 years ago. Pretty good price. Upper is around £65 on its own
