Mk5 GTi Front Grille

Dear All,

Quick question, does a Mk5 GTi (6N2) grille fit the Mk4 (6N) without any modification ? Is the grille the same, are th mounting points the same etc. I'm also wondering whether it is possible to get honeycomb bumper inserts for the Mk4 ? I have a Mk5 Golf GTi Edition 30 and would like to try and replicate the front end on the Mk4,

Any help whatsoever would be fully appreciated,

Won't work sadly because the mk5 grille's badge sticks out above the grille and therefore takes up part of the bonnet, the mk4 doesn't have the right bonnet to allow for this. I guess if you wanted to do it you'd need a new bonnet...

Yes thank you Dan, are there alternative grilles available that give the same honeycomb effect as the newer Mk5 & Mk6 Polo's ?
