gti exhaust help

i want to get a gti exhaust for my 1.2 polo, will it fit straight onto the standard cat or do i have to get a new one?
and is there anywhere i can get a cheap one?

I would think the best bet would be to add just the GTI back section of the exhaust which would fit okay but may need a slight sleeve over the original exhaust. You wouldn't get any power gains and may even see a slight drop off of mid range torque by using a full GTI system but just the back box wouldn't hurt. It may even be possible to get an Ibiza FR box to fit, or better still a Fabia vRS rear exhaust section.
Best place to look? Well how about in the wanted section on here? Shove a post up in there as there are a few people on here who have fitted modified exhausts to their GTIs and may have the old one knocking about.

the gti exhaust is one piece system from the cat and has no center silencer i had mine cut to fit a new back box and a flange wended on, i would just go and get a custom system cat back!
